Welcome to Ultimate Performance Car

Car Season Isn't Over Yet

Camaro IMSA

It is back to school week and with the end of summer many are looking towards the end of cruising season. With the current forecast it looks like we should be able to be driving our cars well into late October. One of the things we can do at this time of the year is plan for our fall and winter projects. Just before you put your car away is a great time to fix up some of the small things that have been bugging you all year. It could be those weathered arm rests or that tired upholstery. That way, when the car comes out in the Spring it is ready to go!

We work very hard at making sure that our prices are the best in Canada. Everyday we hear stories from our customers about how they found us. Many of you tell us about how you tried to buy from US vendors only to pay too much; way too much. Recently, one of our customers told us how he had ordered some products from a US vendor. His order was shipped in 6 seperate shipments and with each shipment the vendor included his original invoice with a total value displayed. By the time the final piece of his order arrived, he had paid over $400 in brokerage fees. Ouch. With Ultimate Performance Car, you pay no brokerage fees and you get the best deal in Canada on your parts.

Time to put the Stock back in Stock Car Racing

082010_musclecars

It appears that the good old boy's sport of turning left is losing market share. It used to be that stock car racing meant that you could buy the car that they raced on Sunday at your local dealership and that thousands of people would flock to see it. Today, we're stuck with a bunch of go-karts with stickers. Even, the occasional driver drama has been "legislated" out of the sport with all of the personalities kept under wraps and Nascar popularity is dropping rapidly.

The obvious solution is to put the stock back into the stock car. We've got a new crop of muscle that could step in and make for some real competition. It is tough to know if anyone in the Nascar crew has the cajones to make this happen but I fear that in it's current incarnation, stock car racing will not last very long.

The crazy hot weather seems to have finally broken which means there is still lots of time to get in the garage and turn some wrenches. There is nothing less appealing than battling crazy hot weather (okay maybe minus 20 weather) in the garage. Let's hope this great weather lasts well into the Fall!
