'Tis the season

C3 Corvette

We've decorated our site for the holidays! December is a great time of year to either start a new project or get working on an existing one. Updating your interior is a great project that almost anyone can do. While there are many parts available to completely replace an interior part, sometimes they need to be repaired instead. Many interior parts can be repainted or dyed, which brings them back to near new status. The important thing to remember when painting vinyl and plastic parts is to use the correct primer and preparation system. The parts must also be thoroughly clean to remove decades of hand grease and residue.

Plastics that are cracked can be fixed with two part plastic repair kits. These repairs do take a great deal of patience. It is usually best to practice on something before you do your first repair to make sure you've got the knack of it. Small detail elements also can be done quite easily. Replacing all of the little rubber bumpers and stoppers all around the car is easy to do and will add to the completed look of your car. Make your list and then start upgrading your car a piece at a time. By Spring, you won't recognize it!
