Where do you ship to?

We ship right across Canada everyday. Here is a map that shows some of the locations within Canada that we have shipped to. We use Fedex, Canada Post and Apex LTL for truck freight items.

Is it cheaper to buy from the US or from you?

Most consumers don't realize that there are many additional fees that affect the price of products when they are imported from the United States. We have carefully calculated all of the costs that an average consumer would incur to buy parts directly from the United States, including the cost of brokerage, taxes, duties and hazardous material fees.  Most US companies also drop ship merchandise which can add two or three brokerage fees to your order. We are confident that when we quote out a price you will not be able to buy it for less in the United States.

Return & Warranty Policy

RETURNS:

You may return any part within 30 days from the original ship date. You require an authorizaiton to initiate any return.

Refunds will be issued in the form of original payment.

  • Parts must be returned in the original packaging within 30 days of invoice date and are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Parts returned within 30 days not in the original packaging are subject to a 50% restocking fee.
  • Parts returned after 30 days not in new condition or not in original packaging will be returned to the customer at customer's expense.
  • No returns will be accepted after 30 days.
  • No returns on special orders or personalized items.
  • No returns on any exhaust products after installation.
  • No returns on electrical products, engine products, computer chips, scanners, tools, books, videos or CD's.
  • No returns of a partial kit or set, parts will be returned back to the customer at the customer's expense.
  • Parts returned without authorization number, customer number, address and invoice number will not be processed for a refund or exchanged and will be disposed of in 30 days.

SHORTAGES: When you receive your package, we ask that you examine it closely prior to opening the factory sealed product packaging. You must report any issues of shortages or discrepencies within 7 days of receiving your package. Backorder items will be noted on your packing slip. We are not responsible for items not reported after the 7 day period has passed. Please note that images on our website are not always the picture of the product you will receive. If you are unsure if a product will fit your application please contact us prior to ordering so that we can clarify any possible discrepencies for you.

WARRANTY: We do ensure that all products are correct and that the product we sell is free of defect. Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We will assist you with any and all manufacturer warranties by either directing you to the correct manufacturer or working with the manufacturer on your behalf where applicable. In some cases the manufacturer will choose to replace the defective merchandise, this is done at the sole discretion of the manufacturer as they do reserve the right to repair instead of replace.

INTERIOR PRODUCTS: Please ensure that you carefully examine all items prior to installation. The manufacturer will not exchange products that have been installed or damaged. Please check the colour and pattern to ensure that it is correct immediately upon receiving your order.  

Return packages must be sent shipping charges prepaid. COD packages will not be accepted. It is recommended that all returns be insured and shipped with a carrier providing a method of tracking in the event the shipment is lost or damaged.
   

Can I order a paper catalogue?

We've expanded our online catalogues but we don't currently publish a paper catalogue. As you can see from our product page, we representthousands of different products for hundreds of different car types. It is very difficult right now to produce one master catalogue. We currently do not have plans to produce a paper catalogue.
   

Why are shipping costs so high?

Shipping products into Canada right now is extremely expensive. As gas prices rose, the courier companies adjusted their prices upward but did not subsequently adjust them back down after the gas increase. We ship 95% of our products to you from our Canadian warehouse which will save you money. Most direct shipping from the US will cost 3 to 4 times as much as Canadian point to point shipping.

Items over 75 lbs or items that are longer than 74 inches must be shipped by truck freight which can be very expensive right now. We always strive to get you the best possible deal for shipping. That is why some truck freight items ship directly from the US. We also do not mark-up our freight costs as some vendors do, and in some cases it costs us more than we charge you.

We are also very flexible with companies or consumers who wish to use their own shipping accounts.

   

We've never heard of you, how long have you been in business?

It's hard to believe, but we've been around over four years now. We're growing every month and we have thousands of customers all across Canada who have discovered our services. While we're not a huge conglomerate, that is what allows us to offer personalized service. As we grow, we are going to strive to continue to provide you that same level of service.
   

How long will I wait for my products?

Generally you will see your products approximately 12 to 14 business days after you order. For some items, we sometimes run into backorder situations and orders can take slightly longer. We sometimes do not know about backorders until after an order has been placed. We will keep you up to date on any backorder situations that occur. Keep in mind that backorder situations would add substantial shipping and brokerage fees if you were dealing directly with a US company. When you deal with us, we deal with those costs. During peak season delivery can take as much as 15 to 20 business days.

Colours other than black for interiors can also add delays but we will inform you of this when you place your order. More and more interior manufacturers have changed their operations to "on demand" manufacturing.

Please note that these delivery times are estimates and that actual delivery will vary per order depending on the items.

   

How can you offer the pricing that you do?

We have established relationships with all of the major catalogue and warehouse distribution companies in the United States and as such we are able to offer competitive pricing compared to ordering direct from the United States. We have a warehouse in Upstate New York as well as several smaller warehouses throughout the Southern United States. As a Canadian company, we are strategically located close to the United States border.
This allows us to bring in more product at a lower price and then pass the savings on to you. No matter if the Canadian dollar is at par or if it is lower than the US currency, you will always save money by purchasing from Ultimate Performance Car.
